Cctv news(Reporter Li Wenxue Feng Siyao) A ceremony to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the birth of China TV series, sponsored by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, hosted by Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television, and co-organized by Shanghai International Film Festival Center and China Radio, Film and Television Publishing House, was held in the Opera Hall of Oriental Art Center on the evening of June 12th. The theme of this grand ceremony is "Do not forget your initiative mind, Keep Mission in Mind, Strive Forever", aiming to look back on the 60 years since the birth of China TV series, especially the initial intention and mission of "walking with the times" of China TV art.
It is the development course of 40 years of reform and opening-up, paying tribute to the outstanding TV drama workers in China, and expressing that in 1958, China’s first TV drama "A Bite of Cake" was broadcast on Beijing TV Station, which opened the prelude to the development history of China TV drama. China TV series, which has gone through hardships and hardships for 60 years, has continuously upgraded its own functions and artistic standards, creating one excellent work after another that is deeply loved by the people and has far-reaching influence.
On the night of the ceremony, the actors and actresses of The Journey to the West in 1986, Dream of Red Mansions in 1987, Romance of the Three Kingdoms in 1994 and Water Margin in 1998 boarded the red carpet, opening the whole ceremony in the most grand way. As a page of China’s TV series "Living History", their stories, their memories, their laughter and tears have all become the best gifts for China’s TV series’ 60th birthday.
In addition to Four Great Classical Novels’s cast, more than 50 important guests, including representatives of the cast of "Selected Topics of 100 Key TV Plays in 2018-2022", attended the ceremony. Among them are: Liu Heping, Chairman of the Magnolia Award Jury of the Shanghai TV Festival, behind-the-scenes celebrities such as Hou Hongliang, Mao Weining, Kong Sheng and Liu Jiang, the backbone of contemporary TV drama creation such as Zhang Jiayi, Huang Xiaoming, Tamia Liu, Ma Yili and Yin Tao, and representatives of young actors such as Tang Yan, Luo Jin, Jiang Shuying and Song Yi.
