Recently, a publicity contest called "Common Prosperity and Youth Theory" was held in Longyou County, Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. The first half of the competition is scene-style, and the preaching point is under the camphor tree, in the square and in the community. What is unusual about this competition is that all the judges in the competition are villagers and students sitting around in the audience.
Participants seem to be chatting at home, talking about theories, policies, telling stories and answering questions. The content of the lecture includes both popular theoretical interpretation and real "personal statement", and the effect is surprisingly good.
What the masses need is a real "voice" to enter the hearts of the people. Longyou County closely revolves around the topic of making the Party’s innovative theory "fly into the homes of ordinary people", and constructs "six systems" in terms of team, research, curriculum, scene, management and guarantee. Through youth vision, youth thinking and youth discourse, young people become the protagonist of "learning", the main force of "speaking" and the main body of "listening" to promote "8090". At present, the propaganda team has grown from 31 people at the beginning to more than 4,000 people, and has organized 12,000 propaganda activities.
Incubate the propaganda team, and the youthful power is full of vitality.
At the beginning of this year, Longyou County established the "8090 new era theory propaganda group", elected the first Council, and issued the management measures for county groups and sub-groups. Excellent lecturers who have reached the age of 40 will retire, and new lecturers will join after 00 and 10. Old lecturers will wear the group emblem and lead the group songs for new members. Through the unique team culture of "8090", the sense of honor, belonging and identity of new members will be enhanced, so that youth can be passed on and preached continuously.
"Attract and cultivate outstanding young people from different fields to study and communicate on the same platform, understand the charm of theory and stimulate the vitality of preaching." Jin Minjun, the person in charge of the "8090" new era theory propaganda work class in Longyou County, introduced that the community has iteratively upgraded the incubation system by improving organizational leadership, standardizing personnel access, strengthening the tutor team, establishing the study system, implementing the service management mechanism, and honoring the caring measures, so as to sow the "seeds" of the theory for the youth group, inherit the "genes" of the propaganda, and establish a more extensive, dynamic and energetic propaganda team.
The "magnet" effect released by the "8090" propaganda group attracted a group of theoretical fans to join the propaganda family. "Once the seeds of thought are planted, they will take root and flourish." After returning to Beijing Information Science and Technology University, Zhong Xin, a member of the publicity group and a post-00 college student, took the lead in setting up a campus sub-group, which attracted more than 60 like-minded post-00 friends to join and gave nearly 10 lectures in half a year.
Wang Zhengyang, who works in an enterprise, was deeply fascinated after listening to the "flash" lecture in the workshop. With the help of the tutor and the gold medal propagandist, he formally joined the propaganda group. During the May 1 ST period, together with the model workers of other enterprises, he formed the "Song of Workers" sub-group.
In order to encourage outstanding young people outside the system to participate in theoretical study and preaching, Longyou launched a new trick for all "8090" lecturers, and awarded a certain amount of talent allowance to three-star, four-star and five-star lecturers and tutors outside the system. Now, after a series of evaluation processes, two batches of star-rated lecturers have been evaluated, and 28 lecturers outside the system have been awarded subsidies.
"Through unit recommendation, preaching PK, rookie kicking, etc., we will extensively attract outstanding young people from all walks of life to participate and constantly absorb fresh’ blood’." Jin Minjun said that at present, 17 special publicity groups, including new generation entrepreneurs, model workers and women, have been fully established, with 520 new members, forming a publicity group structure of "one county general group +93 sub-groups +N study groups" and establishing a youth publicity team system with global coverage, cross-border integration and "two diligence and two specialization".

"The masses voted on the spot, the players spoke well, and the audience had the most say." Zhao Yue, a member of the propaganda group who won the special prize in the final of the provincial "Common Prosperity and Youth Theory" propaganda challenge, said that the competition paid more attention to the combination of theory and practice, and 28 groups of contestants went deep into villages, schools and enterprises to give lectures around the designated theme.
"This kind of ability to speak without stage fright is gained through theoretical research and practice." After joining the propaganda group, "8090 Incubation Base" became Zhao Yue’s favorite place to go. Put down the mobile phone, pick up the book, and brainstorm with the tutors and lecturers, practice theoretical knowledge and improve their preaching ability.
How can a preacher explain to the masses if he doesn’t learn to understand the contents of the sermon himself? Just being a "porter" of the original text, how can people listen and sit still? Longyou County has set up a training system of "research center+incubation base+rural research+theme book house+practical research", and built more exquisite, diversified and youthful preaching courses and scenes through rich research forms such as expert teaching, tutor helping and youth mutual assistance.
In the newly-built "Research Center" in the future village of Longyou Xikou, young students, "two new" organizations, employees of state-owned enterprises, model workers and other new lecturers gathered to participate in the "common prosperity, youth theory" big learning and big publicity and discussion activities. The county co-ordinates the resources of experts and tutors, compiles teaching materials and conducts training for lecturers. At the same time, innovate the practice form of thematic research, take lecturers to go deep into Xikou town, Luojia town and other places for field research, and string theory, practice and preaching into a chain.
"The essence of preaching is’ meaning’ or’ meaning’." Hua Feiguo, the preacher, overcame his introverted personality and bravely took the stage, sharing his experience of growing from an ordinary R&D personnel to the general manager of the enterprise, which aroused strong resonance among the young people present.
In the past two years, Longyou has set up 100 youth study groups, continuously launched the "Hundred Regiments War" to promote training through competition, established the "Ten Must Speak" system of major conferences, major activities, central work, policy of benefiting the people, weekly evening classes, theme party days, "no meeting days on Tuesdays", organized joint ventures with villages, rural film screenings, theoretical study and training, developed a curriculum compilation, and put more than 200 excellent lectures in storage.
Groups of mature lecturers went deep into enterprises, rural areas, communities and other grassroots front lines, came to square parks, workshop stations, school gates and other mass gathering places, and gave lectures for 12,000 times, and filmed "8090 School" in broad online positions such as "Longyoutong" live broadcast alliance, FM954 "Xiao Li’s reasoning" and "8090 Youth Light" Tik Tok.

In the county governance, the village community is the forefront of serving the masses and the first place for theoretical preaching. In the new round of village organization transition, Yang Chen, a preacher born in 1995, was elected as secretary of the village party branch and director of the village committee. He preached the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee to the villagers in his humorous hometown dialect. "It’s very novel and kind, which makes people full of confidence." The villager Chen Jiehua was deeply touched after listening to the lecture.
Integrating the theoretical preaching of the new era into daily work, drawing blueprints, stressing policies, and understanding ideas, and planning characteristic industries according to local conditions, now, through preaching and hard work, Yang Chen has condensed party member’s combat effectiveness and enhanced the cohesion of villagers. The characteristic industries such as yellow tea and Polygonatum in the village have grown rapidly, and the rural sages have also returned to develop high-end homestays.
Like Yang Chen, Longyou now has 24 village community cadres, who, as propagandists of the new era theory, have handed over one answer sheet after another that has attracted the attention of the times and satisfied the masses in the branch grid, the front line of the project, the key attack and the central work.
Where the masses are, the preaching is there. Where the preaching is, the struggle of the youth is there. Closely following the opportunity of digital reform, Longyou County plans the application scenario of "8090+" youth propaganda, builds the whole chain system of "learning, speaking and using" propaganda, actively promotes the propaganda "going out", and organizes the "8090" propaganda activities such as going to the eastern and western cooperative counties, mountain and sea cooperative places, and entering universities and foreign enterprises.
After a lecture on "helping the poor and getting rich", the preacher Hu Zhiwen started the "flying mode" of cooperation between the east and the west, and took nearly 400,000 "flying chickens" into Sichuan, Sichuan and Upper Tianshan Mountains, delivering chickens, technology, services and sales, spanning thousands of miles, helping thousands of people, and increasing the per capita income by tens of thousands of yuan.
In the future village of Xikou, more than 90 young entrepreneurs who returned to their hometowns formed a youth federation, and through preaching common prosperity, they came up with new entrepreneurial ideas. In the name of the Federation, they plan an interesting, cool and relaxed study tour through the rural study tour, combine bamboo weaving, pottery, outdoor, catering and traditional customs, integrate traditional culture into the study presentation, and attract tourists to participate in activities in the future countryside.
